A Pup Named Scooby-Doo is an American animated mystery comedy series produced by Hanna-Barbera. It is the eighth incarnation of the studio's Scooby-Doo franchise, and depicts juvenile versions of the title character and his human companions as they solve mysteries, similarly to the original Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! television series.

A real-estate land developer named Mr. Peterson shows the gang a model of an extravagant shopping mall he plans of building. Daphne ends up getting swirly eyes of excitement. Although she's not technically hypnotized, this could be seen as a metaphor to being entranced by fancy stuff.
