Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (AKA Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) was a 2013 - 2020 American action-adventure series that aired on the ABC television network. Co-produced by ABC and Marvel Television, it was the first television spinoff of Marvel's Cinematic Universe of big-budget superhero films. It revolves around the titular S.H.I.E.L.D. (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division), a spy and peacekeeping agency first introduced in the August 1965 issue of the Marvel comic book Strange Tales. The series starred Clark Gregg, reprising his Cinematic Universe role as S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Phil Coulson, and costarred Ming-Na Wen, Brett Dalton, Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker, and Elizabeth Henstridge. Other actors (and their characters) from the Cinematic Universe also appeared in the series as guest stars.
Yes Man (Season 1, Episode 15)[edit | edit source]
Lorelei (Elena Satine), an Asgardian prisoner, escapes to Midgard (Earth). She is pursued by Lady Sif (Jaimie Alexander), who as a woman is immune to Lorelai's ability to hypnotize and control any man with her voice. Lorelai uses her powers to hypnotize Ward (Dalton) and Fitz (De Caestecker) into helping her. Coulson pretends to be hypnotized in order to get close to Lorelei, while the immune May (Wen), Skye (Bennet), and Simmons (Henstridge) trick her into a showdown with Lady Sif. Defeated, she is fitted with a collar that blocks her powers, freeing Ward and Fitz from the mind control.
Making Friends and Influencing People (Season 2, Episode 3)[edit | edit source]
Agent 33 (Maya Stojan) is captured by HYDRA and subjected to "The Faustus Method," a brainwashing program developed by Daniel Whitehall (Reed Diamond). Although she defiantly resists the process, she eventually succumbs and is later seen as a compliant and loyal HYDRA agent
The Team (Season 3, Episode 17)[edit | edit source]
Daisy/Skye teams up with the other Secret Warriors, but Coulson suspects that at least one of them is acting under Hive/Ward's mind control.
The Singularity (Season 3, Episode 18)[edit | edit source]
Daisy continues to serve Hive as his brainwashed agent. The S.H.I.E.L.D. agents try to get to the Inhuman Alisha Whitley before Hive can, but they arrive too late and find that she has also fallen under Hive's control.
