Alice was a 2009 Canadian television miniseries produced for the Showcase cable channel. Spanning two 120-minute episodes, it tells the story of a modern-day woman named Alice (Caterina Scorsone) who is drawn into the world of Wonderland 143 years after the original Alice (from the Lewis Carroll book Alice in Wonderland). The miniseries also starred Philip Winchester, Kathy Bates, and Matt Frewer.

Scene Summary[edit | edit source]

Alice is brought to Tweedledee and Tweedledum (Eugene Lipinski), who have become psychiatrists and go by "Doctor Dee and Doctor Dum." The twins hypnotize Alice and regress her to a childhood memory as part of their interrogation of her. She is freed by Charlie (Frewer) and the Mad Hatter (Andrew Lee-Potts) and escapes into the forests of Wonderland.
