Archer

From Mental Block

Archer is a 2009 - present American animated sitcom that airs on the FX cable television network. A spoof of (and homage to) the secret agent genre, it centers on the misadventures of Sterling Archer (voiced by H. Jon Benjamin), a talented but often clueless secret agent who works for a dysfunctional private intelligence agency (ISIS) run by his mother Malory (Jessica Walter). The series costars Aisha Tyler, Chris Parnell, Judy Greer, Amber Nash, Adam Reed, and Lucky Yates as Archer's wacky fellow agents and coworkers.

Dial M for Mother (Season 1, Episode 10)[edit | edit source]

The KGB kidnaps Archer and puts a mind-control chip into his brain.

A Going Concern (Season 2, Episode 2)[edit | edit source]

When the ISIS staff find out that Mallory plans to sell their agency to rival owner Len Trexler, they use the mind-control chip from "Dial M for Mother" to brainwash Trexler into cancelling the deal.

House Call (Season 5, Episode 4)[edit | edit source]

The mind-control chip returns again as the team, now out of the spy business, has to choose whether to use it to cure Pam's cocaine addiction or to reprogram Cheryl into becoming a successful country western singer.

Liquid Lunch (Season 7, Episode 8)[edit | edit source]

Archer and a reluctant Lana help Agent Slater track down a former MK-ULTRA experimentee. Back at the office, Krieger makes a bet that he can hypnotize the other employees without the use of drugs or other aids. However, he immediately cheats and drugs everyone with Scopolamine.
