Aztec Revenge

From Mental Block

Aztec Revenge (also known as Mil Mascaras: Aztec Revenge) is a 2015 American lucha libre film starring the legendary Mexican wrestler and film star Mil Máscaras. It continues a storyline from the popular 2008 film, Mil Mascaras vs. the Aztec Mummy, and is the third of a trilogy of films that also includes Academy of Doom.

Plot[edit | edit source]

The Professor (Kurt Mirtsching) discovers that thieves have absconded with priceless Aztec artifacts that were shipped to Columbia State University for study after the defeat of a resurrected Aztec mummy several years earlier by Mil Mascaras (as seen in Mil Mascaras vs. the Aztec Mummy). The Professor reports the theft to Mascaras, who immediately flies to the campus. Meanwhile, the thieves turn out to be students from the University, who open one of the boxes and find the severed head of an Aztec chief inside. The head comes to life and hypnotizes the men. It uses them to collect other students from around campus, creating a brainwashed army of ninjas that it sends out to capture a group of luchadores. The head plans to place itself on the body of a 'suitable' wrestler so that it can enact its plans for world domination.

After Mil is attacked by the ninjas and witnesses some luchadores being kidnapped, he concludes that one of the stolen artifacts, the Jewel of Tonauac, is being used by someone - or some thing - for mind control, but the only obvious suspects are the people he trusts the most. Meanwhile, the head decides that Mascaras would be the perfect new body for itself. It orders the frat brothers to carry it to a sorority party, where it quickly entrances all of the sorority girls. Now under the head's control, the girls lure Mil to their house and attempt to seduce and capture him, but he resists their charms. The involvement of the sorority leads Mil and the Professor back to the fraternity house, where they are captured, and Mil is taken to a basement laboratory to begin the head-transfer process.

Mil and the Professor manage to fight off the hypnotized students and the hypnotized luchadores, leading to a final confrontation with the head- which, unable to take Mil's body, has instead attached itself to a deadly robot!
