Dinah infiltrate Blackbirds secret organization, she encounter a meta-human named Owen who has the ability to control minds and managed to convince him that Blackbird is actually a super-villain who want's to steal their power. Owen tries to fight Blackbird but he finds out that she is unaffected by his power, she proceed to steal them then she new found power on Dinah to make her betray her fellow birds.

In his plot to discovers Oracles true identity, the Calculator breaks Maria Bertinelli and the meta-human Blackbird out of prison, the later tries to hypnotize him but he reveal that he has a counter measure to her power.

Maria refuses to help the Calculator, but he has Blackbird hypnotize her and finds out that Huntress is her daughter Helena. Later the Birds confront Calculator, Maria, and Blackbird. A fight erupts between the two groups, Blackbird shape-shift into Black Canary, in her disguise she hypnotize Huntress to come with her and the Calculator, the issue ends with an entranced Huntress being questioned about Oracles identity.
