Big Trouble in Little China is a 2014-present comic book published by Boom! Studios, based on the 1986 movie of the same name. It follows "the continuing adventures of Jack Burton and the Pork Chop Express" as hero Jack Burton discovers that no matter where (or when!) he goes, he cannot fully escape the characters and creatures of the Chinese underworld.

Issue 8[edit | edit source]

In 1986, Lo Pan uses his hypnotic powers on Miao Yin for a second time, hoping once again to marry her. Jack and Egg foils his plans again.

Issue 17[edit | edit source]

In 2015, Jack and Winona Chi (the daughter of Wang Chi and Miao Yin) infiltrate an otherworldly casino to rescue journalist Margo Litzenberger, who has become a mind-controlled servant of the demon Koschei.

Issues 19-20[edit | edit source]

Winona and her sister discover that Miao Yin has been hypnotized into leaving Wang and marrying Yu Shi, a wealthy businessman with a shady past.

Issue 25[edit | edit source]

Jack and Winona find themselves interacting with the events of the original movie when they travel through time to 1985.
