Charmed is a 2018-2022 American fantasy drama series that airs on the CW television network. It is a "reboot" of the 1998 - 2006 television series of the same name (the previous series aired on the CW network's predecessor, the WB). The series revolves around three sisters- Mel (Melonie Diaz), Macy (Madeline Mantock), and Maggie (Sarah Jeffrey) who learn that they are powerful witches destined to fight evil and protect innocents.

The sisters manage to free the possessed Angela (Leah Lewis) from The Harbringer and trap it inside a magical vessel disguised as a paint can. Unfortunately, the evil Alastair Caine (Craig Parker) hypnotizes whitelighter Charity (Virginia Williams) into trading him the vessel for an actual can of paint.
The ghost of a dead sorority pledge returns to haunt Maggie's sorority, and sets her sights on sorority president Lucy (Natalie Hall). The sisters must intervene before the ghost forces Lucy to kill herself in a drunken accident.
You're Dead to Me (Season 1, Episode 12)[edit | edit source]
Lucy is revealed to be under Alastair's hypnotic control as she plots against the Charmed Ones.
Chloe, a magical pixie in human form, is being used by Zach, a film student, to kill his more successful classmates. When the Charmed Ones try to intervene, Chloe hypnotizes whitelighter Harry (Rupert Evans) to escape. The sisters have to track down Chloe and Zach before they sacrifice Harry and steal his magical powers.
Lucy, still under Alastair's hypnotic control, steals a page from the Book of Shadows. She later falls into a trance and sends information on the Charmed Ones to Alastair, but it's all part of a trap by the sisters to feed him with false information.
