Fuller House is a 2016-2020 American television sitcom about a widowed mother (Candice Cameron-Bure) who raises her three children with the help of her sister (Jodie Sweetin) and her best friend (Andrea Barber). It is a sequel to the 1987-1995 American sitcom Full House, with Cameron-Bure, Sweetin, and Barber all reprising their roles from the original series. The premise also mirrors the premise of Full House, in which a widowed father raises his three children with the help of his brother-in-law and best friend.

Running Gag[edit | edit source]

Kimmy (Barber) was the victim of a hypnotist who planted a suggestion in her subconscious mind, and for some reason never released her from it. The result is that whenever she hears the trigger word "Houseboat," she unknowingly begins strutting around and clucking like a chicken. Upon hearing the second trigger word, "Boxcar," she snaps out of this trance with no knowledge of the experience.

Mad Max (Season 1, Episode 5)[edit | edit source]

Kimmy's daughter Ramona (Soni Nicole Bringas) tries to use hypnosis to put baby Tommy Junior to sleep, without success. Kimmy tells Ramona that hypnosis doesn't work and reminds her of the time a magician tried unsuccessfully to hypnotize her. Of course Ramona knows that the hypnosis did work, and briefly amuses herself by saying "Houseboat" to turn Kimmy into a chicken Then Tyler Said I'd Like To Keep Her as My Pet Chicken.
