George of the Jungle 2 is a 2003 American movie about the adventures of George (Chris Showerman), an "ape man" and king of the jungle. It is a sequel to the 1997 movie George of the Jungle, which itself was based on a 1967 American animated television series of the same name.
After the events of the first film, George (Showerman) and his wife Ursula (Julie Benz) start a life in the jungle, but George finds it difficult to juggle his roles as husband, father, and King of the Jungle. Ursula's mother Beatrice (Christina Pickles) invites George and his family to visit Las Vegas. Beatrice secretly hopes to convince Ursula to leave George and return to civilization with Lyle (Thomas Hayden Church), Ursula's dim-witted fiance. When Ursula refuses, Beatrice hires a hypnotist to erase her memory of George and replace it with the memory of marrying Lyle.
