The Justice League expand their operations. With their new Watchtower, the league consider other heroes for membership including Firestorm, Stargirl, Swamp Thing, and John Constantine.

Justice League Action is an American animated television series based on the comic books published by DC. The series is produced by Jim Krieg, Butch Lukic, and Alan Burnett, who produced other DC animated shows in the past. Premiering on Cartoon Network in 2016, the show ran for 52 11-minute episodes. Additional shorts were published to YouTube via the DC Kids channel throughout the following year.

Night of the Bat (Season 1, Episode 3)[edit | edit source]

Black Adam, seeking the throne at the Rock of Eternity, unleashes the Djinn on Earth to wreck havoc. Batman is in charge of capturing the second djinn: Uthool. During their encounter, Uthool turned to dust and went inside Batman, allowing him to infiltrate the Hall of Justice, overload its power core, and free his brother. Upon being found out, Uthool transforms into a monsterous form. Wonder Woman frees Batman by throwing the power core at Uthool, splitting the two in the process.

Zombie King (Season 1, Episode 7)[edit | edit source]

Grundy has the power to raise zombies that can turn other people into zombies under his control. He causes a mass zombification by shining the Crimson Moon through a jewel on placed on the City of Lost Souls. Batman tried to stop him and Zatanna arrived to help but only in time for Grundy to succeed and turn them into zombies. But then Swamp Thing used his powers to take out the jewel and turn everyone, including Batman and Zatanna, back to normal.

Play Date (Season 1, Episode 11)[edit | edit source]

The Justice League mountain has been broken into by the Toyman. After knocking out the heroes, he straps devices onto them to fight each other like a certain fighting game.Cyborg, familiar with the game Toyman wants to reenact, challenges him for their freedom. For their first game, Toyman calls dibs Superman and makes Cyborg pick Batman ("Oh come on! Batman doesn't have any powers... not that he needs any."). However, Cyborg (and Batman) gain the upper hand and defeat Toyman (and Superman) with Batman's special move. Their victory is short-lived, as Toyman selects Wonder Woman for the next game. The next game is just as fierce as the first, but this time Toyman gets to use his special move and wins.Complaining about not being able to use another character, Toyman takes control of Cyborg and sends him to get pummeled, but Cyborg reveals he was stalling for time before a robot he interfaced set them free.

Garden of Evil (Season 1, Episode 25)[edit | edit source]

Poison Ivy is taking over Gotham with the help of a brainwashed Swamp Thing. While Swamp Thing is aware of his actions, he cannot resist Poison Ivy's spell. It later turns out they met during a blind date. With Swamp Thing's powers, Poison Ivy wants to transform Gotham into a "modern Garden of Eden".To make matters more complicated, Poison Ivy is also planning a wedding for herself and Swamp Thing.

Something in the Hair ( Web short, Episode 16 )[edit | edit source]

Poison Ivy is up to her tricks again and seduces Batman to help her escape the Watchtower. It's up to Plastic Man to save the day but is he immune to her mind-controlling spores?

The Goddess Must Be Crazy ( Web short, Episode 20 )[edit | edit source]

During a sparring match with Wonder Woman, Supergirl end's up possessed by Felix Faust
