Kaiketsu Zorro (1996)

Kaiketsu Zorro (快傑ゾロ Kaiketsu Zoro, lit. "Extraordinary Zorro") is an Italian/Japanese anime, based on the western character Zorro. Fifty-two episodes were produced, however only 46 were broadcast in Japan. The series became very popular in European countries, including Portugal and Spain, the colonial power of the area in the story.

The Hypnotic Doctor ( Episode 46 )

A new "doctor" comes to town, and hypnotizes some of the citizens to try and discover the true identity of Zorro.

  The doctor takes the spellbound boy, Bernard, with her.

  "When I snap my fingers, you'll forget everything you've said to me..."

  Bernard wants to see the doctor again.

  And returns home delivering a message, over and over.

  "It looks like he's in some kind of trance..."
