Leprechaun 3

From Mental Block

Leprechaun 3 (also known as Leprechaun III and Leprechaun 3: In Vegas) is a 1995 American comedy horror film starring Warwick Davis in the title role and costarring John Gatins and Lee Armstrong. It is the third film in the Leprechaun series, and the first to be released directly to home video instead of theatrically.

Plot[edit | edit source]

The film begins with the Leprechaun, having been changed into a statue by a magical medallion, being sold to a Las Vegas pawn shop. When the clerk removes the medallion, the Leprechaun returns to his original form. He strangles the clerk and escapes the pawn shop, losing a gold coin in the process. The coin, which has the power to grant a single wish to anyone holding it, is passed from person to person at a nearby casino. The Leprechaun goes on a murderous rampage while trying to get the coin back, killing those who have used the coin to make a wish. He is ultimately defeated by college student Scott McCoy (John Gatins) and magician's assistant Tammy Larsen (Lee Armstrong), who blast his gold with a flame-thrower, causing it to vanish and the Leprechaun to burst into flames.
