Saint Seiya: Soul of Gold (聖闘士星矢 黄金魂 -soul of gold- Seinto Seiya Sōru Obu Gōrudo) is a 12 episodes ONA (Original Net Animation) anime series and a spinoff from the classic anime Saint Seiya, the animated adaptation of Masami Kurumada's manga of the same name.

The series begins when the golden knights died destroying the "Wall of laments" so that the bronze knights could pass to the Elisean fields, they revive in Asgard, place which is in a civil conflict, and the people is oppressed by Andreas, a tyrant who took the throne from Hilda and calls himself a "God", the golden knights take advantage of their new lives to help Asgard.

Lyfia's character is hypnotized by Loki, and he orders her to revive the Golden Knights, so that Loki can absorb his energy and get Gungnir the weapon which will allow him to destroy Odin, but in reality Odin broke the hypnosis in Lyfia and possessed her, getting ahead of Loki's plan, and actually instead of getting Gungnir, Odin gives his power to Aoiria and the Golden Knights to defeat Loki.
