Star Trek: Enterprise
Star Trek: Enterprise (originally titled Enterprise for the first two seasons; sometimes abbreviated to ST: ENT) is a science fiction TV series and a prequel to the original Star Trek. The series premiered on September 26, 2001, on the UPN television network with the final episode airing on May 13, 2005. It was the last Star Trek program to end its run on television. The show is set in the nearby regions of the Milky Way galaxy, beginning in 2151 (115 years before the original Star Trek series) when Jonathan Archer becomes the captain of the Enterprise. It ends in 2161 with the formation of Starfleet Academy and the United Federation of Planets. The series takes place aboard the starship Enterprise NX-01, Earth's first warp-5-capable ship, which has been designed for long-range exploration of the galaxy.
"Regeneration" season 2, episode 49[edit | edit source]
A team is investigating strange wreckage found in the artic including two humanoid bodies frozen in ice. They take them to their laboratory for analysis and that turns out to be a huge mistake as they thaw and awaken-turns out they are borg leftovers from a battle over a century ago [STAR TREK-FIRST CONTACT] and they turn on the scientists. The ENTERPRISE is sent to investigate and piece it together as their sensors pick up a ship hightailing it out of there. ARCHER [SCOTT BAKULA] recalls a speech by ZEFRIM COCHRANE where he mentioned the BORG and realizes these are the borg as the ENTERPRISE follows the ship while the revived BORG assimilates another vessel and crew who infects DR PHLOX but his denoblian psychology resists the infeststion. Archer beams aboard the borg ship and is attacked he phasers two down then recognizes the pair as scientists transformed into BORG drones. Meanwhile the crew fights off BORG who have invaded the ENTERPRISE and is trying to modify it. ARCHER meanwhile plants a charge and beams off the ship and the BORG realizing the danger recalls its boarding party but it is too late the charges detonate destroying the vessel. DR PHLOX meanwhile uses radiation to destroy the nanites in his body but concludes it to be unsafe for others infected. Meanwhile TPOL tracks a signal the BORG sent and concludes that the BORG will invade EARTH- but not until the 24th century.
