Matters of the Mind (Issue 4)

When the Enterprise is the subject of a suicidal, unprovoked attack by a group of Pakled ships, Counselor Troi suspects that mind control is involved. Data tracks the Pakled ships back to their destination, and Troi leads a team down to the planet's surface to investigate. Unfortunately, she's walking into a trap. The security team is killed, and Troi, Dr. Crusher, and Ensign Ro are brainwashed by a Ferengi thought maker. The brainwashed women return to the Enterprise and attempt to seize control of the ship.
