Tabaluga (TV Series)

Tabaluga (1994-2004) is an animated television series produced by Flying Bark Productions (previously known as "Yoram Gross Films Studio" and "Yoram Gross-EM.TV"), based on the character of the same name created by Peter Maffay. In this series, Tabaluga is the last of the dragons and the crown-prince of Greenland, a magical place inhabited by talking animals of many different species. Tabaluga must defend his home from two rival kingdoms on either side of Greenland; a frigid arctic tundra, ruled by the evil snowman Arktos and a searing desert, ruled by an evil sand-spirit named Humsin.

A Fatal Present (Season 1, Episode 13)[edit | edit source]

Arktos sends a plague of locusts to ravage the Greenland. Tabaluga ask the help of the giant spider Tarantula who can play a melody that bewitch anyone who hear it and attract them to her lair where she could feed on them, she agree to help Tabaluga but warns him that if she capture any other animal she would eat them too. Buzz one Tabaluga friends ends up entranced by the song, fortunatly her friends managed to save her in time.

Queen For One Day ( Season 1, Episode 25 )[edit | edit source]

An snake named bilingua start hypnotizing the inhabitant of the Greenlands and the Ice World to make them believe that she is their queen. Tabaluga succed in defeating her by using a mirror to reflect her hypnotic gaze back at her.
