The Immortal was a 2000 Canadian action-horror series starring Lorenzo Lamas as Raphael "Rafe" Cain, an immortal being sworn to destroy every demon on Earth. After 400 years, Cain and his immortal squire Goodwin (Steve Braun) team up with a para-psychologist named Sarah (April Telek) to begin the final battle against the demons. The series aired in first-run syndication for a single season of 22 episodes.

Wicked Wicked West (Season 1, Episode 5)[edit | edit source]

Rafe, Goodwin, and Sarah travel to an Old West-themed attraction, where Goodwin and Sarah are hypnotized into believing that they are a lawman and a saloon girl, respectively. It's up to Rafe to break the spell before the demon responsible can steal their souls, and before "Lawman Billy" tries to gun him down.

Studio D (Season 1, Episode 7)[edit | edit source]

Demons take over a TV network and run a slate of shows that are all designed to steal the souls of the people watching them. After Rafe saves Sarah from a hypnotic soap opera that's designed to drive her to despair and suicide, the three heroes take on the studio demons across the various sets and shows.

Bride's Kiss (Season 1, Episode 9)[edit | edit source]

A billionaire demon uses a cursed ring to hypnotize his new bride- an expert on artificial intelligence- so that he can take control of her and her groundbreaking technology.

Forest for the Trees (Season 1, Episode 11)[edit | edit source]

Loggers are being driven insane by a trio of wood nymphs that guard the forest. Rafe, Goodwin, and Sarah are pulled into their battle when one of the nymphs turns to the dark side, and Sarah is enchanted in the hope that she will become the newest wood nymph.

Learning Curve (Season 1, Episode 13)[edit | edit source]

Goodwin and Sarah go undercover at an exclusive private school where the students are being brainwashed until become perfect (and perfectly evil). Things get complicated when the squire's cover is blown and he is brainwashed.

Wired (Season 1, Episode 15)[edit | edit source]

Two demons use a nightclub to perfect their audio mind control technology.
