The Wild Wild West was a 1965 - 1969 American action adventure series that aired on the CBS television network. A mix of science fiction, steampunk, westerns, and spy fiction, it starred Robert Conrad and Ross Martin as two agents of the U.S. Secret Service who protect U.S. President Ulysses Grant and the country from criminals and villains.

Night of the Steel Assassin (Season 1, Episode 16)[edit | edit source]

Torres (John Denher), a Civil War veteran who was left for dead by his comrades, is rebuilt as a crude "bionic man" and uses his new enhanced abilities to seek murderous revenge. West and Gordon accompany President Grant on a trip to Mexico, unaware that Torres has set his sights on the man he believes is most responsible for his predicament- the former Union Army general Ulysses Grant!

Nina (Sue Anne Langdon), the daughter of murdered soldier RL Gilbert, confronts Torres, only to be promptly hypnotized and turned into a bubbly, airheaded saloon girl. After West and Gordon defeat Torres (by dropping him into a deep pool of water), they catch up with Nina and de-hypnotize her. She's not exactly amused.

The Night of the Tartar (Season 2, Episode 19)[edit | edit source]

West and Gordon after telling their dates of their "advanture" hypnotize the women to thinking their going out into a really expansive date.

Night of the Wolf (Season 2, Episode 27)[edit | edit source]

West and Gordon are assigned to protect an Arizona pig farmer named Stephen (John Marley) when he learns that he has inherited the throne of a tiny European kingdom. Talamantes (Joseph Campanella), the former king's Rasputin-like advisor, arrives to oversee things. To ensure that he stays in power, Talamantes hypnotizes and brainwashes Stephen's daughter Leandra (Lori Scott) and turns her into his puppet.
