Tron: Uprising

Tron: Uprising is a 2012 animated series created for Disney XD. Set between the original Tron and the sequel Tron: Legacy, it details Tron and his apprentice, Beck, as they resist Clu's attempts to take over Beck's system.

State of Mind

The occupation uses a combination of a gas and a signal tower to take control of the residents of the system. Beck's friend Mara is taken over, and thrown into a rage to destroy "the Renegade", Beck's alter ego. Unable to flush the gas from the programs, Beck settles for destroying the signal tower instead, freeing the programs from the occupation's control.
