Variable Geo (Anime)

Variable Geo (ヴァリアブル・ジオ) is an anime series based on the popular Japanese fighting game series of the same name. The series loosely follows the same plot as Advanced V.G.

On November 29, 1996, KSS released the first chapter of a three-part original video animation. The second chapter was released on March 14, 1997. The third and last chapter was released on June 27.

Satomi Yajima is a young woman who have to take care of an ill little brother, in order to make some money she decide to enter the V.G. tournament, she is approached by Damien a member of the Jahana Group. He gives her access to the cyber drive a technology that enhance her fighting abilities in order to help her win the tournament. The device also contain the consciousness of Miranda Jahana, founder of the Jahana Group and it allows her to possess Satomi.

Meanwhile Chiho Masuda enters the tournament on order's of her grandfather investigate The Jahana Group's activities.  Damian catches her spying on him and decides to use her field-test the cyber drive's enhancements. After Chiho's defeat, he leaves her to Siritahi, who tortures her before injecting her with mind control serum.
