A loser college student is having a really bad day: the girl he's in love with only thinks of him as her bestie, and he is diagnosed with terminal cancer, with only three months to live. Then, an alien life-form that looks like an egg yolk jumps into him; it not only cures his cancer, but it also gives him superhuman abilities. But dangers of the extraterrestrial kind appear. For his friends and loved ones, he has to overcome his loser mentality and become a hero.
Episode 2[edit | edit source]
Li Zhiyuan accepts the fusion with the Egg Yolk overnight. He is not only cured of cancer but also gains superpowers, and feels that he had reached the peak of his life. As a carrier, Li Zhiyuan needs to continuously feed the Yolk. Absorbing his energy, the Yolk quickly learns human language and knowledge, and grows from a soft and fluffy egg to a calm and rational boss in seconds. In Li Zhiyuan's body, the thing that puzzles the Egg Yolk the most is that Li Zhiyuan's heart beats faster when he sees Wang Nan. He thinks it's just a physiological reaction of the bearer wanting to mate. Meanwhile, an aggressive alien creature hypnotizes and possesses a couple in crisis.

In order to help Wang Nan win a scholarship to go abroad, Li Zhiyuan and his roommate Wang Sida participate in the school's tennis match. With the help of the Egg Yolk, Zhiyuan and Star defeat Tennis Master Zhao Rui. Zhang Qimeng, the mysterious woman possessed by the alien monster, appears at the competition and leaves her business card in hopes of helping Li Zhiyuan decipher the alien creatures. Zhao Rui, who lost the game, is in a state of despair. On his way home, he is attacked by a man under the control of an alien who is chasing the Egg Yolk.
